Originally scheduled for 18^th July, and then postponed to 5^th September, the event was eventually cancelled due to the persistently wet weather.

Abandoning the wet conditions outdoors for the dry of the Village Hall, a successful Coffee Evening was held on 5^th September instead - with BBQ, Cake Stall and Bottle Stall and the Grand Raffle Draw.  There was also an impromptu auction of left over bottles and BBQ meats, which, through the auctioneering skills of Stanley Griffiths, raised a considerable sum. 
The event raised £782 in total, which, though less than usually raised by the Sports & Fun Day, was nevertheless an exceptionally good result.
